The prescription of exercise will be an important aspect of everyone’s treatment. The types of exercises prescribed will depend on your condition and individual factors like your
fitness, age and state of health. Exercises may aim at stretching tight muscles, improving joint mobility, strengthening muscles or improving proprioception and balance. Where possible we will use functional exercises. Functional exercise trains us to become strong and flexible in movement patterns that we use in everyday life or sport. I am also happy to advise on how to minimise the risk of injury and optimise the effectiveness of weight training and strengthening programmes.
